After 17 years dedicated to academic research and clinical practice in Transplant and Nephrology, including serving as the Chief of Transplant and Interim Division Chief of Nephrology at University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), Dr. Mujtaba has decided to bring his experience directly to the community he serves.
His vision is to build a practice where trust, compassion, and innovation guide every decision, and where every patient is cared for with dignity and excellence, regardless of their insurance status.
For Dr. Mujtaba, kidney care is not just about treating disease, it’s about walking alongside patients and families in some of their most vulnerable moments, offering them hope, guidance, and the best care possible.
